About Milford Promont House Museum , 906 Main St., is a three-story Italianate house set on spacious wooded grounds. The house was built 1865-67 for a wealthy businessman, and through the years several other families took up residency, including Ohio's 43rd governor, John Pattison. The house currently reflects the Victorian era. Visitors can get a nice view of the area from the third-story tower. The site is open weekends 1-4, March through December; phone (513) 248-0324 to confirm schedule.
Among the town's annual events are Buskerfest in the fall and Hometown Holidays during Thanksgiving weekend.
