For an exceptionally well-prepared and budget-busting steak with mouthwatering toppings, this is my favorite spot in Chicago.
AAA Inspector Notes
Historic. To be sure, the aged Prime steak, lamb, veal, and seafood will make an impression on your wallet but is worth it in the end. Steaks are either wet- or dry-aged and some have a bone-in option. Some higher priced specialty Japanese steaks also are available on the menu. The main dining room is located up a flight of stairs on the second floor, but lots of dining tables also are available in the ground-level bar. The oak-paneled walls sporting Chicago photographs taken 1830-1930 are interesting.
