Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, 1071 Fifth Ave. at 89th St., was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The domed circular section of the building creates an interesting visual effect; art is displayed along the spiraled walkway. In addition to the permanent collection, including rare works by Kandinsky, Mondrian, Picasso, and other modern and contemporary masters, the museum presents changing exhibitions that are always significant and intriguing.
