National Archaeological Museum of Aruba is at Schelpstraat 42. Artifacts representing Aruba's cultural heritage include the remains of stone tools dating from 2000 B.C., known as the pre-ceramic period. Items dating from 1000 A.D., the ceramic period, include pottery, sling stones used for hunting and burial artifacts of the Dabajuroid Aruban Indians. Also displayed are skeletal remains excavated from an Amerindian burial site.
