The museum displays more than 30 historic aircraft including a carefully restored Fairchild 71, a fighter-bomber version of the de Havilland Mosquito, as well as 1920s biplanes and jet fighters from the Cold War era. Other displays detail the history of aviation in Edmonton and Alberta and include “story islands” featuring videos, dioramas, artifacts and the museum’s most iconic aircraft.
