Royal Alberta Museum is at 9810 103a Ave. N.W. Alberta's natural and human history museum houses a permanent collection in two main galleries, the live Bug Gallery with spiders and other invertebrates, the Children's Gallery for the little visitors, and the Feature Gallery offering changing exhibits.

The Human History Hall on the first floor tells the story of Alberta's people through artifacts, displays and multimedia about early Indigenous inhabitants, European settlers, cowboys, pioneers and revolutionary figures in the province's history. The second floor Natural History Hall showcases animals and plants from the Ice Age and beyond with dioramas, fossils and life-size skeletons of mastodons, mammoths and rare prehistoric beasts.
