TELUS World of Science—Edmonton is at 11211 142 St. N.W. Five galleries house interactive exhibits that explain and explore science and technology with a fun, hands-on approach. The S.P.A.C.E. Gallery allows guests of all ages to launch rockets, command a lunar lander and see the Aurora Borealis. Guests also can experience the Destination: Moon Object Theatre to learn how the science center acquired a real Moon rock. Inside the Syncrude Environment Gallery guests can get hands-on with Touch Tank explorations, meet Doc the yellowfin surgeon fish and create lighting and tornados as they learn about weather systems. Staff scientists in Science on a Sphere, use the 1.8-metre (6 ft.) diameter globe to enhance presentations about the earth's environment.

CuriousCITY, a tactile adventure for children 8-years-old and younger, offers fun and learning through activity and role play as youngsters crawl through the River Valley to discover fossils and get to know local animals, or climb the Fort Edmonton Park tree house to examine pelts and pretend to prepare a meal. Children can even pilot the EIA Airplane or command the YEG Control Tower and will be delighted as they splash around at a Water Exploration Zone or explore several iconic Edmonton landmarks such as the Muttart Conservatory, the Queen Elizabeth Planetarium and the High Level Bridge.

At the Science Garage guests can flex their creative muscles as they design, build and create. The Body Fantastic teaches visitors about the inner-workings of the human body as they explore the Gallery of the Gross to identify different smells, and test their knowledge of anatomy when they put together a life-size X-ray puzzle.

In addition guests can enjoy live science demonstrations on the Science Stage, or explore the day and night sky at the RASC Observatory, equipped with high-powered telescopes. Guests can see the latest IMAX film or enjoy an out-of-this-world planetarium show in the Zeidler Dome, a digital visualization theater featuring 10k resolution capabilities.
