Last Frontier Mushing Co-op

Last Frontier Mushing Co-op, 265 Gettinger Rd., offers an immersive experience with the chance to meet friendly Alaskan Huskies, explore snowy trails by dog sled and learn how to harness a team of sled dogs. Winter tours include the 1.5-hour daytime Chena River Mush and the 3-Hour Aurora Mush that offers the chance to see the northern lights. Mushing cart rides are available in summer and fall, and summer kennel tours are also available.

Note: Appropriate winter gear is recommended; winter tours include parkas, boots and bibs. Reservations are required.
