Auburn University

Auburn University, 100 S. College St., was founded in 1856 by the Methodist Church and envisioned as a religious, educational and cultural center for men. The institution is now a state-supported, land-grant university. A walking tour of campus can be arranged through the Office of Admissions; maps are available in the student center.
