Frank Slide Interpretive Centre

Frank Slide Interpretive Centre is 1.5 km (.9 mi.) n. off Hwy. 3 at w. edge of Frank Slide. The center overlooks the site of the 1903 rockslide. Visitors experience the impact of Canada's deadliest rockslide through interactive exhibits and high-definition presentations. Walkways outside the center provide spectacular views of the surrounding Canadian Rockies. A 1.5-kilometre (.9 mi.) self-guiding trail through the slide provides a close-up look at the debris. Interpretive programs are offered in summer.
