(science, technology, engineering, art and math) are at the core of this educational feast for the senses with more than 100 interactive displays. Create snowflakes or view distant galaxies in the Earth & Sky gallery. Check your mood on a special camera or monitor your reaction time in the Being Human exhibit area. In the Open Studio, you can build an invention using toothpicks, take apart a machine or digitally animate a story.
High-definition films and live planetarium shows are the highlight of the HD Digital Dome Theatre; "Pandas: The Journey Home" is the feature film. The Creative Kids Museum offers hands-on activities geared toward children under age 8. Daily educational programs and performances connecting science and the arts take place in the 164-seat Presentation Theatre. Brainasium, an outdoor park, offers a 19-metre (63 ft.) slide and other activities for children.
