The Fort Museum

The Fort Museum, 219 25th St., creates the atmosphere of the original Fort Macleod. Exhibits set among historical structures focus on the history of the North West Mounted Police, southern Alberta natives and pioneer settlers. Of particular interest are the summer Mounted Patrol Musical Rides, in which horseback riders in replicas of 1878 RCMP uniforms perform precision movements to music.
