Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area is 10 mi. e. at 20201 E. SR 12. The 12,056-acre park along the southern shores of Beaver Lake is part of the large-scale power and flood control project in the White River Basin. The terrain offers plateaus, ridges, valleys, a forest and streams and harbors abundant wildlife. Its waters offer large- and small-mouth bass, crappie, bream, channel catfish and northern pike. The visitor center features interactive exhibits, a cave diorama, a wildlife viewing area and an orientation film. Primitive campsites are at the end of a 4-mile hiking trail.

Interpretive boat tours, workshops, snorkeling and kayak instruction classes are offered seasonally by reservation.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
