DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains, 1 mi. n. of Sunrise Dr. at 6300 N. Swan Rd. More than 15,000 ceramics, paintings and sculptures created by Southwestern artist Ettore “Ted” DeGrazia are featured in permanent and rotating exhibits. Mission in the Sun, an open-air adobe chapel built in the 1950s by DeGrazia and his Native American friends, adjoins the gallery on the 10-acre National Historic site. The artist's final resting place is marked beside the chapel along with the first house he built.
