Arkansas and Missouri Railroad

Arkansas and Missouri Railroad departs from the depot at 306 E. Emma Ave. Travelers ride in comfort aboard restored late 19th- and early 20th-century passenger cars on an 8-hour, 134-mile round-trip train ride through the scenic Boston Mountains to Van Buren. The full-day ride includes a 2.5-hour stopover in Van Buren. Round-trips from Van Buren to Winslow and round-trips from Fort Smith to Winslow also are offered. Christmas-themed trips are available from Springdale in winter.
