Nohwike’ Bágowa (House of Our Footprints) Museum

Nohwike’ Bágowa (House of Our Footprints) Museum, s. off SR 73 to Indian Rte. 46, following signs, provides visitor orientation for Fort Apache and Theodore Roosevelt School National Historic Landmark. The museum features two permanent exhibits: The Fort Apache Legacy and Footprints of the Apache, as well as changing exhibits. Video presentations about the Apache creation story and cultural topics are available. Cultural and historical relics such as clothing, weapons and dolls are on display, as are works by local artists.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
