Yuma Quartermaster Depot State Historic Park, I-8 4th Ave. exit to 201 N. 4th Ave., is on a 10-acre site on the s. side of the Colorado River. The park salutes 5 centuries of transportation across the Colorado River. From 1864 through 1883 the U.S. Army Quartermaster Depot stored and distributed supplies for military posts throughout the Southwest. Five restored buildings stand on the site that once comprised the depot. The depot office was built in 1872.
