Wild Canyon Adventures is located in El Tule Canyon, an ecological preserve about a 20-minute drive from Los Cabos. Fans of extreme sports will get the most out of this adventure park, where the main draw is eight lengthy ziplines. The final line, called Big Ocho, is more than half a mile long, and riders can reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour while zipping along suspended from twin cables high above stark desert scenery.

Equally adrenaline inducing is Bungee Bombers; thrill seekers jump from a glass-floored gondola for that free-falling sensation. Camel Quest Encounter features camel rides through the oasis at the canyon bottom as well as interactive encounters with these desert beasts. The young camels are trained to be ridden by kids, making this a good activity for families.

The 1,082-foot-long Los Cabos Canyon Bridge is a wooden suspension bridge that accommodates both pedestrians and ATVs. Just under 7 feet wide, it stands 164 feet above the canyon floor at its lowest point. An animal sanctuary is home to rescued parrots, macaws, prairie dogs and iguanas.

Note: Bilingual guides are present for all organized activities. Trails between the zipline landing and launching platforms are steep and involve uphill hiking, which can be strenuous in the summer heat; wear comfortable, lightweight clothing. Taking photographs with a personal camera or smartphone is not permitted.

Recreational activities are permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 4 hours minimum.
