Sunbury Plantation House is .7 mi. (1.1 km) w. of Six Cross Roads on Hwy. 5. Built in 1660, Sunbury is one of the oldest plantation houses on the island. Guides lead 30-minute tours of the house, which is furnished with period pieces and antiques. The yam cellars contain collections of horse-drawn carts and an optometrist's artifacts. The surrounding plantation is still being worked. A candlelight dinner is offered Tuesday and Thursday; reservations are required.
