AAA Editor Notes
Ashcroft Museum is at 404 Brink St. Exhibits recount the history of the southern Cariboo, the First Nation tribes that first settled Ashcroft. Artifacts and photographs are displayed in the windows of old shops, churches and houses along a board sidewalk, depicting life as it was in Ashcroft's glory days between the first settlement in 1884 and the great fire in 1916. A re-creation of the Hat Creek Mine also is displayed.
