AAA Editor Notes
Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire is on Kaya Randolph Statius van Eps, via Kaminda Sorobon following signs. These pack animals were brought to Bonaire in the 17th century to work the saltpans, and hundreds of their descendants roamed wild, falling prey to disease and car accidents. The sanctuary cares for sick and orphaned donkeys and provides a home for healthy donkeys.

Visitors are encouraged to bring fruit and bread snacks to hand-feed the residents. The park also contains an iguana and tortoise garden, watchtower and pond area with pink flamingos.

Guided tours are available. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
