Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens

Kitty Coleman Woodland Gardens is at 6183 Whittaker Rd. The gardens, created by Bryan Zimmerman to share the beauty of the area with others, showcase rhododendrons, with more than 3,000 varieties and sizes planted throughout the landscape. The peak viewing season is mid-April through fall. The gardens host the Kitty Coleman Arts and Bloom Festival over the Victoria Day weekend in mid-May.

Ponds, walking paths lined with granite rocks, a creek, a gazebo, benches and driftwood sculptures add to the beauty of the site.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
