Puntledge Hatchery is 3 km (1.9 mi.) w. on Lake Trail Rd., then 2 km (1.2 mi.) n. on Powerhouse Rd. following signs. The hatchery nurtures and releases several varieties of salmon into the Puntledge River. The best times for viewing are September through November for adult salmon and April through May for juveniles. Photographic displays outline the species' various stages of development.
