Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory

Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory is at 717 White Lake Rd. The site features radio telescopes used to study the universe. A self-guiding tour includes a 26-metre (85 ft.) parabolic antenna and an array of more sophisticated, computer-linked, 9-metre (30 ft.) antennae.

Note: Since automobile ignitions cause radio interference, visitors are asked to leave their vehicles at the road and walk the 600 metres (.4 mi.) to the facility.
