Vancouver Maritime Museum is at 1905 Ogden Ave. at the foot of Chestnut and Cypress sts. in Vanier Park. Discover the rich maritime traditions of the Pacific Northwest and the Canadian Arctic. Model ships, naval uniforms and other artifacts reveal explorers' interactions with the sea. Historic vessels are displayed outside in Heritage Harbor. Tour the circa 1944 St. Roch, Canada’s celebrated RCMP schooner. The Children's Maritime Discovery Centre features hands-on activities in an interactive setting that includes operating a submersible, exploring the authentic reproduction of the bridge of a tugboat in English Bay, and touring the fo’c’sle of Captain George Vancouver’s ship Discovery.
