AAA Editor Notes
Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park is 8 km (5 mi.) s. off Hwy. 6. Largely undeveloped, the parkland protects an environment of north Okanagan grassland interspersed with stands of ponderosa pine and Douglas fir.

A paved trail winds down to the beaches at Jade and Juniper bays, popular swimming spots in summer. Other hiking trails crisscross the park, which provides refuge for a variety of mammals (white-tailed deer, coyotes, cougars, bears and red foxes), birds, reptiles (including rattlesnakes) and other wildlife. Take in the panoramic vistas from the viewing platform atop Rattlesnake Point.

Dogs are not allowed in Jade, Juniper and Cosens bays and must be on a leash in the park.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
