Just north of town and off the beaten path, this steakhouse has been a local staple since the 1950s. Rustic country décor and old-fashioned friendly service make patrons feel comfortable and welcome. The homemade clam chowder is superb, and the portions of steak and other entrées are generous. The signature homemade apple, cherry and peach cobblers are sublime and are usually on the menu. This steakhouse sits above the rolling hills in a country setting with amazing views of the nearby train station.
