Bishop Creek Canyon is 16 mi. w. of Bishop, Calif., on SR 168. Lined by 1,000-foot granite cliffs, the canyon is popular with anglers from late April to mid-November at spots like North Lake, South Lake, Lake Sabrina, Intake II and Bishop Creek. Marked hiking trails traverse this idyllic wilderness region.

Camping is permitted. Food is available.
