AAA Editor Notes
Hanford Carnegie Museum, 109 E. Eighth St., is in a Romanesque-style library built in 1905. Among items depicting Hanford and Kings County history are clothes (including a dress that belonged to Amelia Earhart), furniture and photographs. A large collection of military memorabilia from World War I and World War II also is on display. There is a rose garden on the museum grounds.

Guided tours are available by appointment.
