Los Angeles Police Museum

Los Angeles Police Museum is at 6045 York Blvd. in Highland Park. Furnishings in this 1925 brick Renaissance-style police building are reminiscent of a 1925 station. Old jail cells, historic photographs and such memorabilia as weapons, badges, medals and uniforms are displayed. Well-known investigations also are highlighted. Outside are vintage squad cars, including one involved in a shootout, and an L.A.P.D. helicopter.
