Built in 1947, this elegant mid-century modern hideaway is rich in history and art. An eclectic collection of more than 50 large-format oil paintings enhances the property’s unique charm. Family lore has it that Villa Royale’s original owner, Evelyn Pell, named the hotel using the initials of her two children, Valorie and Richard. The Evelyn Pell Villa, named in her honor, boasts amenities such as a fireplace and private hot tub.
