AAA Editor Notes
WildCare, 76 Albert Park Ln. off B St., is a nature education and wildlife rehabilitation center that treats injured, orphaned and sick wild animals until they can be released back to their natural habitats. An exhibit hall contains California wildlife displays and offers hands-on exhibits for children. “Wildlife ambassadors”—animals that recovered but are unreleasable—include a spotted owl, a rattlesnake, and a variety of raptors and sea birds.

Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.

Daily 9-5. Closes at noon on major holidays. Pool birds are fed daily at 10 and 4. Phone ahead to confirm times for special presentations.
