Calico Ghost Town Regional Park is at 36600 Ghost Town Rd. Calico was a booming silver-mining town from 1881 to 1896. When the price of silver dropped in 1895, the mines stopped producing and Calico became a ghost town. One-third of the buildings are original. Attractions include a mine tour, mystery shack, gold panning and train ride. The Lane House and Museum is furnished with period antiques. Ghost tours of the mine, schoolhouse or town are offered. Mountain bike and off-road vehicle trails are on the grounds.

Guided tours are available. Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Camping is permitted. Food is available.
