Disney California Adventure® Park, off I-5 Disneyland Dr. and Disney Way exits at 1313 Harbor Blvd., has been inspired by the state's iconic landmarks and history. Guests enter on Buena Vista Street, reminiscent of the 1920s California that inspired Walt Disney when he was a young animator. Buena Vista Street is the first of seven themed lands. The others are Pixar Pier, Paradise Gardens Park, Hollywood Land, Grizzly Peak, Pacific Wharf and Cars Land.

Cars Land brings characters from the Disney/Pixar film “Cars” into the spotlight. At both Mater's Junkyard Jamboree square dance with baby tractors and Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, where Luigi and his cousins perform Italian dances, guests sit in cars that spin and move to music to create choreographed scenes. Radiator Springs Racers gives passengers an idyllic view of Ornament Valley before they head through the town of Radiator Springs and then eventually race another car of guests to the finish line.

Pixar Pier features Pixar characters and their stories. Incredicoaster is a steel coaster that joins the Parr family in a race to capture the baby, Jack-Jack; it's tall, it's fast and it loops riders upside down. A much tamer ride is the 150-foot-high Pixar Pal-A-Round, a Ferris-wheel-type attraction. Additional stops on the pier include Toy Story Midway Mania!, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, a 4-D interactive attraction, and Jessie’s Critter Carousel.

In Paradise Gardens Park, find Silly Symphony Swings, inspired by the 1935 cartoon short, “The Band Concert”; Goofy's Sky School coaster, inspired by the “Goofy's Glider” cartoon from 1940; Jumpin' Jellyfish; Golden Zephyr and The Little Mermaid~Ariel's Undersea Adventure, where giant clam shells provide transportation through Ariel's colorful and musical underwater world.

Hollywood Land celebrates the magic of the movie business. At Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley to the Rescue!, guests take a cab ride through Monstropolis as Mike and Sulley frantically try to return Boo without alarming the monster residents. Mickey's PhilharMagic is a 12-minute 3D movie staring Donald Duck. Other attractions showcase the art of animation.

Avengers Campus is where guests will find their favorite Marvel Super Heroes including Black Panther, Captain America, Iron Man and many others. On WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, riders climb aboard the WEB Slinger Vehicle and help Spider-Man to wrangle his Spider Bots that are running amok on the campus. Riders and Rocket Raccoon will have to free the Guardians from The Collector's fortress on Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!.

Frozen—Live at the Hyperion is a theatrical interpretation of Anna and Elsa's heartwarming story. Disney Junior Dance Party! is a dance party show starring your favorite Disney Junior characters.

In the Grizzly Peak area, California's state animal is an ominous symbol; the terrain includes the Grizzly River and Grizzly Peak, a bear-shaped 110-foot-high mountain. Brave guests can experience Grizzly River Run, a white-water rafting ride that twirls riders 360 degrees as they drop down two waterfalls. A challenge for the younger crowd is the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, where Russell and Dug from Disney/Pixar's “Up” want you to be successful and earn your Wilderness Explorer badge. Sourdough bread is a San Francisco tradition, and on The Bakery Tour visitors can see how it's made in the park's Pacific Wharf area.
