Ocean Institute

Ocean Institute, 24200 Dana Point Harbor Dr., contains sea-life exhibits. Marine biologists conduct several types of wildlife cruises aboard the research vessel Sea Explorer and the tall ship Spirit of Dana Point; dolphins, sea lions and whales may be seen in season. Guided tours of another tall ship, the Pilgrim, are offered by docents donning historical garb. A bioluminescence night cruise also is available.
