Clear Lake State Park

Clear Lake State Park is 3 mi. n.e. at 5300 Soda Bay Rd. The lake, California's largest freshwater body of water, is a popular spot for all forms of water-based recreation. Fishing, for bass in particular, is particularly good, and a nature trail passes through the site of a former Pomo Indian village. The visitor center has wildlife dioramas and exhibits depicting the lake environment both on land and in water. A theater presents videos, films and demonstrations.
