Oroville Chinese Temple Complex & Museum

Oroville Chinese Temple Complex & Museum is at 1500 Broderick St. The complex—thought to be the largest in the West that has remained intact from the gold rush era—contains three working temples dating from 1863, complete with original furnishings and an herb shop. Across the garden courtyard are three rooms displaying tapestries, puppets, clothing and other everyday items once used by Chinese immigrants living in the area.
