The grounds are home to swallows that migrate from Goya, Argentina, as well as hummingbirds and Monarch butterflies.

A digital audio tour of the mission is available in five languages (in two languages for children). Hands-on activities, learning programs and the Mission Clubhouse appeal to children. Cultural festivals and summer concerts also are offered.

Guided tours are available.
