Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine

Mollie Kathleen Gold Mine, 1 mi. n. of Cripple Creek at 9388 SR 67, was discovered by Mollie Kathleen Gortner in 1891 and has been maintained as a mine ever since. Tours 1,000 feet underground allow visitors to understand the lives of the late 19th- and 20th-century hard rock gold miners and the nation's mining legacy. Jackets are supplied.
