Limon Heritage Museum, 1 mi. w. of I-70 exit 361, then 2 blks. s. on E Ave., is housed in the restored Union Pacific and Rock Island depot, and an exhibit building featuring a two-room prairie house, a mercantile store, geology displays, a radar weather station, plows, wagons and an 11-foot-high bronze sculpture, “Prairie Odyssey.” An extensive Native American collection is a major highlight of the museum. Five rail cars, including a restored dining car and caboose, contain exhibits about area history.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
