AAA Editor Notes
ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy, w. of I-25 exit 148 at 101 ProRodeo Dr., depicts the history of rodeo and honors the sport’s champions through multimedia presentations, art, audiovisual programs and artifacts. Setting the tone, a statue of legendary world champion bronc rider Casey Tibbs resides at the entrance to the hall.

The attraction, appropriately enough, is adjacent to the national headquarters of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. Exhibits in Heritage Hall trace the evolution of the modern rodeo. The Hall of Champions honors rodeo greats, both human and equine, and displays statues, trophies and tack belonging to the sport’s heroes. A garden, bronzes, an arena and a corral can be found outdoors.

Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
