Cliff Palace

Cliff Palace is in an alcove in the east wall of Cliff Canyon in Mesa Verde National Park and is reached by five 8- to 10-foot ladders. Though visible from the Sun Temple or the Sun Point overlook directly opposite on the west rim, access is permitted only on ranger-guided tours.

Note: The tours can be strenuous due to the elevation, steepness and summer heat.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
