Ouray County Museum is at 420 6th Ave. The building that houses this museum was the town’s hospital for 77 years. Some 27 rooms contain individual displays about the county’s history. Hospital memorabilia remain along with mining relics, ranching and merchant exhibits, Ute Indian artifacts, a replica of the old jail and two restored log cabins.
