Overlooking the Potomac River, the Gaylord National is an impressive structure and is the heart of the National Harbor complex. The multi-story glass atrium is the centerpiece of the hotel. The atrium houses shops, restaurants and a spa. There also are extensive convention facilities on the premises. The guest rooms are comfortable, each featuring a desk, a 32-inch flat-panel TV and well-appointed bathrooms with a full tub/shower combo or a shower only. Some rooms afford river or atrium views. A resort fee is charged, which covers Internet access, in-room bottled water, pool and fitness center access, phone calls, newspaper, a $10/day dry cleaning credit and shuttle to MGM casino.
