AAA Inspector Notes
Created as a place to serve pre-Columbian recipes that have been handed down for generations, the restaurant is conveniently located near museums and the Zocalo. Menu items range from traditional tortilla soup and duckling in blackberry sauce to such adventurous choices as fried worms, ant eggs and grasshoppers. I highly recommend the pistachio soup, as well as the turkey with tamarind mole sauce. Third-floor seating offers views of historic buildings, and outside dining is available.
