AAA Inspector Notes
Along the New River, this hotel exudes old Florida charm with a pianist playing in the lobby most evenings. Guest rooms in the original section are more compact but are still very stylish. The newer tower has a gorgeous hallway leading from the elevator to the rooms. Much of the hotel features its original flooring and more than 75 years of guest traffic has graced their halls. The guest décor and sizes of the rooms vary depending on the tower in which you are staying. With more than 10,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, this hotel is hugely popular for weddings and corporate functions. The pool offers a certain serenity that is hard to match at any other downtown property. Nestled quietly on the river, it is surrounded by lush landscaping and the calming sounds of boats idling by.
Smoke free premises. 231 units. 6-12 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
