AAA Editor Notes
IMAG History & Science Center, 2000 Cranford Ave., contains more than 60 interactive exhibits and a 3-D video that allow visitors to explore the sciences, arts and humanities. Aquariums and touch tanks hold stingrays, horseshoe crabs, sea stars, urchins, snails and other marine life. One saltwater aquarium is a replica of the USS Mohawk, a World War II Coast Guard Cutter. A walk-through southwest Florida history exhibit highlights mammoths, mastodons and saber-tooth cats. An outdoor freshwater lagoon features fish, turtles, ducks, geese and swans. Animal Lab is home to alligators, snakes, tortoises and birds. Other highlights include Dino Discovery, Science of Motion, Mind Magic, Solar Array, IMAG-TV and an Imagination Playground.
