AAA Inspector Notes
This hotel embodies a slice of Miami Beach's flamboyant heyday. Originally built in the 1950s by famed architect Morris Lapidus, the hotel has been restored to its previous age of glamour. There are more than ten guest room categories to choose from ranging from the stylish superior queen to the opulent penthouse. All guest rooms have nautical motif nuances while featuring white marble floors with sisal rugs, 48-inch televisions and gourmet honor bars uniquely displayed in vintage steamer trunks. Due to the historical nature of the property the bathroom space is variable with some limitations in size; however, the customized appointments make the bathrooms comfortably practical. There are many highlights of this property, besides the enviable location, including a heated, saltwater pool with underwater music.
Smoke free premises. 250 units. 8 stories, interior corridors.
