AAA Inspector Notes
In the heart of the Art Deco area and nestled quietly on the beach, this hotel features an Asian decorative style that is unparalleled. Spacious units are engulfed in luxury. The lobby is steeped in dark woods to create a calming aura and appeal. The flooring is actually twelfth- and thirteenth-century Shanghai brick inlays. Just off of the lobby sits the serenity pool. This particular pool has a special feng shui arrangement to it, which is a Chinese philosophy that governs spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to patterns of the flow of energy. Unfortunately, you cannot swim or wade in this pool, but there are three pools available for guests' recreation. Each pool is heated at a different temperature: 75 degrees, 85 degrees and 95 degrees. Ladies and gentleman alike can embrace peace and tranquility at the spa while utilizing this fine facility. There is also a state-of-the-art health club on site, which has everything you need for a total body workout. The guest rooms mirror that of the public areas in relation to the Asian theme. There are different layouts, including residences that feature a walk-out balcony and full kitchen. It's interesting to note that the hotel was blessed by a Buddhist monk before it opened.
Smoke free premises. 144 units, some kitchens and condominiums. 7-41 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
