Gatorland

Gatorland is 6 mi. s. of the Beachline Expwy. (SR 528) on US 17/92/441 at 14501 S. Orange Blossom Tr. Opened as a roadside attraction in 1949, the park and wildlife preserve is home to thousands of alligators, crocodiles, snakes and other reptiles. Highlights include the Stompin' Gator Off-Road Adventure, a children's petting zoo, a train ride, an aviary, a breeding marsh with observation tower, Gator Gauntlet Zip Line and the Screamin’ Gator Zip Line. Daily shows include Gator Wrestlin', Gator Jumparoo and Up-Close Encounters. Gator Gully Splash Park includes more than a quarter acre of dueling water guns, a bucket tree and a splash fountain.

Rental strollers and wheelchairs are available.

Guided tours are available. Food is available. Time: Allow 3 hours minimum.
